I havnt used the firefly renderer much so far, mostly because it falls over if I use too many lights, and I tend to use alot. The other reason is the lil black marks you get on some of the renders, when you turn up some of the post filter options. Not sure why it happens, only that it is extermely annoying. It may be I'm missing something, but I'm just trying to up the anti alias options on the firefly render.

If you have any ideas let me know, I've attached a sample render to this post.

For those lines, you should check the Poser5 forum at RDNA. There is a discussion about the FireFly engine.

I haven't found out yet what exactly causes those annoying black spots, but changing the bucket size tends to help.

The pen is mightier than the sword. But if you literally want to have some impact, use a typewriter
