I have this wonderful eye texture I'm trying to use that includes the pupil, iris and whites (this is part of the head texture). No matter what I've tried though the pupil that's there just won't disappear to show the one from the texture. I vaguely remember someone else trying to get rid of this a few months ago, but I don't remember if it was ever solved. Can anyone help me?

1-which texture is assigned to pupil? 2-is eyeball 100% trans max/min? 3-the light flare is a reflection of your light source on eyeball the tan disc looks like a piece of the skin texture like maybe you are getting the pupil from the body texture You can get some interesting effects if you set the pupil to be 25/12% transparent - "red eye" and such and some depth effect - it will show the outer eyewhite texture

In the default Poser lighting setup, one of the lights seems to be flesh-colored, and perhaps the eyeball is reflecting it.

The pupil texture is set to the head texture, as is the iris and eye whites. It was late last night, but I think the one with the tan disk came from when I set the max transparency to 100. I tried so many different ways I confused myself.

In this case, the tan disc represents the retina. As for the eyeball, you are probably going to get a reflection no matter what you do. Elements can be made invisible, but I think materials can only be transparent. What type reflection do you get if you make the texture of the eyeball = black, but still set at 100% transparent max/min? Does the texture have any effect in this case?

Must have just been to late for me to think straight last night. I just messed around with it again and figured it out. The pupil was still set to black. Set to black with 100 min/max transparency gives you the picture that I first posted. One this picture, the top one the pupil is black, min/max both at 0. The bottom is what I wanted, I needed to change the pupil to white. I should have known that. LOL Thanks, Jaager. :o)

Okay if I had any hair I would be pulling it out. I have tried object color black or white and trans min/max to 100% and I still get the tan disk as above. Chailynne would you care to post a screen shot of the pupils surface material menu? Maybe you can show me something I am missing. Thanks,
