My toons need some men! One for Staci, One for Girl...And just some toon men in general. And yes I have Ichiro...but he doesn't cut it for the latest crop of toon girls!

You can do a lot of cool stuff with Brom (Daz). There is also Neftoon Pal(Polymage) Although, I wish there were more stuff for Pal.

I bought brom because he's the tooniest man around. :) Still not quite right for staci or girl

New male companion for GIRL over at PoserPros this past weekend - think it's called BOY, a new toon Aeon character by Dodger. Saw an announcment in the product showcase forum yesterday.

I don't like for my Boy and Girl to look so much alike. The two look like they can be related, not an item. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but that not the look I'm looking for.

well I made morphs & textures for Sara to turn her into Simon, but they work best on Sara1, not 2. (the body works on 2, but you're on your own for the head) I've yet to do a sara2 version. Perhaps Simon is might help?

I needed a companion for my V2 G.I.R.L so I made this M.A.N. morph for M2:

H.I.M. is the male companion for H.E.R. He will be out before the end of the month.

I was thinking the same thing. If H.E.R. don't mind sharing

By Dodger, at PoserPro's New figure based on the David mesh. Takes all of David's morphs. Designed to be a companion to the GIRL. He also comes with a complete wardrobe.

I thought that DAZ was going to release a BOY figure for the GIRL ???? BTW--that figure by Toshi looks nice. I went to his site, but there aren't any images there to see what else he has :( --Rebekah--

...maybe Daz should have moved faster (grin). One thing I haven't tried yet is V3 morphs on him. Dodger says he'll take the standard V3 morphs. Wonder what he'd look like as a female?

odeathoflife ( ) posted Mon, 04 October 2004 at 10:55 PM

That boy looks weird to me. The lips are horrid ( not that I could do better mind you but...) PAL is a great companion to the GIRL as well as Staci IMO he is very versitile. The girls that are morphed to look like boys still look like girls or at least boys in drag. Sixus companion to the HER is very nice looking but I do nto think that it is meant to be a companion to the toon females.

You are right odeath, H.I.M. isn't 'toon' in the truest sense....but he isn't meant to be 'realistic' either. In my best impression of an older south american male voice, "He is the archetype of sueve made flesh" raises hand in the air and performs some frilly foo over dramatic swirly movement

And PAL is a great figure...he does doofy dude flawlessly.

Maybe DAZ will just call theirs B.O.I. now....that has a nice ring to it.

I like Pal, I just wish he had more morphs. Right now, I think Brom is the best. Because you can go from the boyish look, teen dork look, masculine bad boy look, and for the Anna Nicole Smith GIRLies, you can even have a rich old eccentric geezer. Brom is that all-purpose stud. I think H.I.M. has a lot of potential, too...

Regarding Staci, there are apparently plans for a male conterpart, tenatively called "Stan". I got that direct from 3D Universe (at the time I asked, there was no estimate of when the new model might make its appearance, however).

Regarding the male counterpart to The GIRL, several folks around DAZ forums have been using the name The GUY, including a few staff members (if my memory serves me properly).

As for Pal, well, you can see what his opinion on the matter is... ;-) (I love this guy, he's so very expressive!)

"Maybe DAZ will just call theirs B.O.I. now....that has a nice ring to it." Don't think so, since they don't call the Girl G.I.R.L. either ;-).
