Subject: Vue 5 or Vue 5 pro?

I've looked through the threads and haven't found an answer to my question. I have Vue pro. Should I wait for Vue 5 pro? Or sidegrade now? I don't want to do that and find Vue 5pro has something better and I don't want to upgrade twice.

Vue Pro will surely have something better. I'm sorry that I can not help, but it is entirely up to you, and the way you feel: if you can resist the 3 months that separate us from the release of Pro 5, then don't buy Esprit. If, like me, you can not resist, then sidegrade to Esprit and also upgrade Pro when it comes out. If financially you can not buy both, and you are forced to make a choice, then of course my advice is to wait for Pro, because you will miss Pro features, if you liked them.

You might find this thread over in the Poser Forum of interest. I have theorized about what E-On MIGHT offer in Vue 5 Pro that would make it a MONSTER app...

Thanks, seeing the poser 5 renders I'm tempted, but will wait. I just won't look anymore... okay, that's a lie I have to look. The lighting I've seen is stunning. Hope the learning curve isn't too steep. Old dog new tricks syndromn ~G~ Thanks muchly.

For me I am holding off and getting VuePro 5 which should have all the new features that Vue 5 have now plus some added features if it is to stay as a pro version. I hate to spend the money and in couple months spend more to get these features and more that should be in VuePro 5. "lol" I can use only one program at a time. :) I agree that the new features are really nice and makes Vue 5 a very attractive application.

I will also wait and see, but it also depends on the pricing of Vue Pro 5. Frankly I'm not hugely impressed by e-on's policy here. Vue Pro should really have been something like Vue 4.5, and I get the impression that rather than fix things that were broken in Vue 4 they decided to put the fixed features in a much more expensive "pro" version. It certainly divides the community, and that's bad of itself.

I think E-on has learned from their Vue Pro experience (and why I didn't want to buy the first version)- but think Vue Pro 5 will be a lot more stable and offer more professional features for character and object animations, etc.

I'm also waiting for Pro, even if it hurts seing all those nice renders. ;o)

Veritas>>and offer more professional features for character and object animations<<

If your prediction on this one turns out to be true I'd be one happy worker! :o)
