Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Feb 10 10:34 am)
Ooooh! What detail. I owned one of these in the '60s, and this definitely brings back memories. The model's interior is perfect, down to the bandswitch trimmer coils and the dial cord. Can almost smell that wonderful hot bakelite, and hear Radio Moscow's unmistakable overmodulation..... Zenith built some fantastic radios in the late '30s, with elegant mechanisms, perfect sound, beautiful inlaid cabinets, and plenty of little hidden controls and plugs.

Happy Birthday, Cooler ... and thank you for the kind gift :) Veritas777, like you I was a shortwave radio nut in my youth and was a member of umpteen DX Clubs. I used to listen to VOA, RCI, Deutsche Welle etc.etc. I still have a sizable collection of QSL Cards. Even more recently, I had a SW Receiver that I could fit in my pocket but it stopped working... then along came Poser.
Hippy bird-day, Big "D" ! Huge thanks for all your expert advice, your participation at the various sites, and of course your incredible generosity with your cool models. For those who don't know, cooler has "rescued" the Poser newsgroup Model Challenge countless times, just one of the things about him that keeps his screen name honest. :-)
