Subject: Creating "Head Only" figures from Poser Meshes??

How do I create "head only" and other body part figures from existing meshes. By "head only" I mean figures like the P4 male and female heads and also the hand figures found in the Additional Figures Library. I find these figures very useful for morph creation and mixing as they have a much lower ram requirement when compared to the full figure and you can save out the finalised morph for use in the full figure without having to load every morph used into it. I want to make "hip only" and "chest only" figures for P4 but I am also looking at the potential for Victoria and Michael with their high poly counts and consequent memory requirements. These figures would have to be able to transfer morphs back to the original full meshes. BTW my head figures act as my morph libraries. I have a number of copies of each in my Additional Figures Library with different facial parts morph targets in them e.g. a mouth morphs head, eye morphs head etc. I am hoping JeffH, Bloodsong and others might be able to help with this one. Regards and thanks STORM

I just deleted all the bodyparts I didn't need out of the cr2. Check out the P4 male and female head-only figures I have in the FreeStuff. I made them to go inside my Spacesuit figure. -JH.

Thanks very much Jeff. That should do it. I presume the UV mapping co-ordinates will still work for the head this way? Thanks STORM

Yes the UVs are the same.
