Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 22 9:27 pm)
That's very subjective, as what I think is/looks the best may look like crap to you (course you would be wrong). I suggest looking in the Poser gallery and see what you think looks good, then check the credits for that hair. For me, Ive got most of the popular hair props but find the ones made by Quarker and 3Dream to be among the best (along with the free hair by Koz). Have a good hair day, SWAMP

My favorite "pay for" hair styles are Aeris Hair by Danae and Glorious Hair by 3Dream. I am strongly biased towards long hair. Here's a couple of hints: You can combine two or more hairstyles to get what you want. All you have to do is make sure the textures match. Netherworks has some free utilities that lets you use V3 hair on other characters.I got the Magix VR hair from Hmann, but was pretty dissapointed. For the money he wanted it is kind of useless. It only comes with one map color (something about the way the hair is constructed) but that can be tinted to reasonable effect. The real problem with it is it takes a million years to render, and the bangs are perfectly symetrical which looks bad. be prepared to take some magnets to it if you buy this hair. I have Grace Lion hair by quarker, and think it's great. It has TONS of morphs, and looks good. The only problem I have with it at all is that it is SO popular and so recognizable that ya kinda get sick od seeing it. From what I've seen Quarker's Slinky hair looks great too. and there are some very nice textures for it. I will at some point be buying 3dream's Paradise hair. It's not exactly an everyday style, but it's affordable, looks great, and after just buying EJ I practically worship 3dream! I'd agree with the others though, Get all the free hairs from Kozaburo, and MayaX. (Just make sure to lower shading rate to use them in P5)
Quarker's Hiar models, But I also couple them with Firebidz Morphs so the style changes plus he/she has been including Fit-To Morphs so you are not limited to V3... but literally any figure out there. Netherworks has some nice hair models too. PLUS... Big plus here, they also offer conformers that allow you to adapt hiar from one figure to another. I have been playing with the David Hair Kit and it is Sooooooo easy to use as long as you follow the instructions provided. Kozburo has a large number of hair files available for free. He recently did an interview with www.rdna.com. Plus there are a number of freebies here in the freebies section. Daz has a few hair settings for sale. Cuff n Tail and Haughty hair are great items and they offer some texture packages seperately. Haughty Hair was created by AprilYSH and she has a few other models available for sale on Poser Pros.

I put "Hair" in the market search, but that returned 94 pages. What is the best looking hair to buy for the V3/S3 series? By best, I mean looks the best in a render without any postwork. Brendan
