Subject: How can I affix a cloth object to something?

I have a cloth item parented to an object but when I clothify it, it slips away from the object to the floor. How do I hang the item on the object? I'm sure there was a tutorial about doing this with curtains, but I can't remember/find it!

Create a constrained group.
