I've been using Vue 5 and yesterday I rendered a picture that uses a point light. (Radiosity is turned on, as well in environmental mapping.) I'm getting grainy shadows along the edges. I tried turning off the volumetric lighting setting and am still getting them. Does anyone have a fix for this? (Sorry about the size of the pic. I didn't want to show the nudity in the image. Thanks in advance. Denny

What render settings have you used? Maybe you simply need to render it in a higher quality level? Broadcast or higher. Normally this sorts out those effects.

I used Final setting. Come to think of it, I rendered another picture at Superior and didn't see any of these ragged edges. Does quality boost on the shadows help? Thanks, Denny

Yes, a lot. Final is the lowest setting with anti-aliasing. Increase the settings on that image and see wether the grainyness is gone!
