Ummm this may just be Microsloth acting up but I see no link if there was one intended, but just by looking at the thumb, it looks like you've got some nice atmosphere effects goin'.

that's better..only thing I might try is matching the lighting levels and directions between the model and the background, the figure might be a little bright (or just need to tan a bit more)..keep with it..
