Subject: To Vue or not to Vue

Pirate1 ( ) posted Sun, 31 October 2004 at 6:59 AM ยท edited Wed, 25 December 2024 at 8:26 AM

Hello,
I am totally new to this type of animation. I have downloaded the Vue demo from the e-0n site and have managed to plug a few things in and create a 5 sec movie with the sunrise over the ocean with a big rock in the middle of it:)
My question is I want to make little Pirate movies to share with other football fans on the internet. Like a Pirate ship sinking another ship... or cannons going off and a jolly roger that can be animated to speak... do I need Mover 5 to do this or can Vue do it? Should I go for the less pricey Bryce?
Thanks in advance for any inpute

If you don't know this site yet, check it out. It is a great example of how Vue can be usedfor animations. That should help you decide.

Vue is good for simple animations like belinos. But for serious animators its far too buggy and if you are using it for tv it just looks horrible.

I wish I could do "simple animations" like belino! I say, I'd really like to see your animations, bonnyclump!
