It's such a newbie question, I know. I DLed a bunch of nice stuff from the free stuff section, but I don't know how to install any of it (or whatever you call it). I've got Poser 5, fresh off the press.

Well first unzip the files, using either Winzip or Stuffit. All Poser items go into your runtime folder, goemetires in to geometries characters into characters, so on and so forth (folders might be named differently in P5), the Poser files might be in sub folders copy thos entirely into the respective parent folder(geometries, textures, whatever), if you don't do this the item may not wotk, after you're done open Poser and enjoy.

The zipped files you have may be setup wrong. If you zip them directly into Poser, you may never find the stuff. Start out by creating a temporary folder. Then unzip the stuff there. See if it is setup properly. Here's a screenshot showing the Poser 4 & Poser 5 folder structure. Poser 5 just has a few things not found in Poser 4.

Dr. Jeep gave me tutorial on this when I asked the same question. Isn't there someone who put all his tutorials on their website?
