Dear Friends, I am very happy to release an all-new version of my SpeedBump filter package for GraphicConverter on Macintosh. Users of my last version 1.1 will be aware of serious limitations in quality of the bumpmap-back-to-greyscale filter. While it still is impossible to create a perfect greyscale without serious loss of original information and (often) quite some distortion, the new version 2.0 of GreyBump includes a *much* improved re-conversion, now resulting in more satisfying and usable maps with a minimum of further manual editing. It also comes with a much better and more friendly user interface. New features of Greybump include: - improved reconversion - new optionable controls - multiple passes for reduced distortion - full support for preferences The CleanBump filter got some new features as well: - filter to directly invert a bumpmap - filter to remove all color from a bumpmap template without changing the bumps The filter package is now available [DOWN THE RABBIT HOLE](http://www.main-rheiner.de/homepage/soft.rabbit) The filters require the latest GraphicConverter 4.0.1 release, available from [LEMKESOFT](http://www.lemkesoft.com) Cheers, Love, MartinC
