Hello, i just made a simple animation with *metablobs* function in Vue5. its o'some i mean it...! :) here is some shots:: (total 481 frames, took 1H 5M, Int 1.8Ghz, 512ram) RES:160*120, divx5-198kb

That looks real good. What kind of lighting setup did you use there, if I may ask? Anything special like radiosity, GI, etc? I know metaballs in other programs are usually resource hogs, and your rendertime is something around 8 min per frame approximately, at 160x120, which seems quite long. I'm just wondering how much of that was due to the geometry, or if there was complex lighting calcs taking place as well.


Tools :  3dsmax 2015, Daz Studio 4.6, PoserPro 2012, Blender v2.74

System: Pentium QuadCore i7, under Win 8, GeForce GTX 780 / 2GB GPU.
