Well it made my morning a little better, thanks for the laugh.

My friend has collected LOADS of candy simply through stealing them from children on Halloween. This was about 3 days ago.

Now when my friends goes to get more free candy that kids are sharing, you know the candy that the morons pay for, there are hardly any being eaten anymore.

What gives? Are kids too high on sugar to share their candy? He's tried high schools too, no milk duds.

You can try the adults in the candystores but that's luck of the draw. He tries pensioners once in a while but you know how that goes (nothing but Werthers originals).

Is there a new chocolate factory he could use?

Piracy should be more strictly controlled, though this isn't to say I've never downloaded a Tenacious D song off LimeWire or an eBook off Bit Torrent, but honostly I'm trying to do everything legally now. LDLD's stuff was pretty nice though.

Actually P2P stuff wouldn't be so bad for distributing stuff like actual honest freebies. It would definitely free up bandwith on websites. The tricky part would be making the things being shared known about so they'd spread. Also I could see indy artists using this to distribute media without having to deal with any record companies or publishers. Perhaps with a modest request for a voluntary donation if you like their work in order to make the effort worthwhile. It might happen eventually...
