Subject: Particle help PLEASE!!!!

I'm trying to make my particles transparent but I get I'm assuming the square particle shape showing through the sphere particles or when I turn up the transparency it goes white instead of see through and when I do get the sphere particles tran. black squares from the emitter are present. I've got all the trans. settings set as far as the renderer goes and I've tried turning on the no light when fully trans. setting on and off but I still get those strange artifacts. Can anybody help?

Increase the ray depth when rendering and that should get rid of the strange artifacts. Also, make sure light through transparency is selected. Brian
