After popular demand, the epitome of the medium Clan Tech Mechs is here! Maybe the best "jumper" available, it comes in two camo schemes - A Davion (MW4 intro) in plain Green and a Treeline with Clan Jade Falcon markings. As always available from the RDNA Mech Works. Enjoy!

you know, I can't actually see anything about mechwarrior at RDNA - am I missing something?

igohigh ( ) posted Sun, 21 November 2004 at 11:39 AM

zulu9812; Click on the "Free RDNA" link in the left colomn. It is the first item before the 26Days of Christmas past. Then if you go a few more pages in you will start to find John's previous Mechs as well, I think there's three so far, or is it four?? I wish they still had those large online Virtual Mech War games, the kind you climb in and take the controls to fight with others and once a week they'd go live on line to fight with others from around the world. Now they have replaced them with others but I like the Mech Wars best!

zulu9812 ( ) posted Sun, 21 November 2004 at 11:52 AM

oh, he's giving them away for FREE - that's awfully nice...:)

Just wondering, are these monsters (I mean that in a good way!) only for fan art or can we do anything with 'em? This one would look great in a sci-fi comic I'm planning.

You'd have to ask John that but I'm pretty sure only fan art since they are all based on previous designes and not total origianl mechs...

Byrdie ( ) posted Sun, 21 November 2004 at 1:26 PM

Thanks, will keep them in my fan-art only runtime then. So does anybody know where I might find some original ones that are Poser-ready?

Coleman ( ) posted Sun, 21 November 2004 at 6:22 PM

Here in MP: JHoagland and SanctumArt have commercial mech models.

Byrdie ( ) posted Sun, 21 November 2004 at 6:36 PM

Thanks, gonna go check 'em out!

Hi Jon, many thanks from an old Mechwarrior fan! The texture-work is ART! A 3025 Warhammer was my first object which i build in truespace many years ago, 30 meters, only from drawings of the old Battletech-sourcebooks. http://www.renderosity.com/viewed.ez?galleryid=336217&Start=13&Artist=webvogel&ByArtist=Yes The shadowcat is great! Thanks!

Jon your Mechs are great! Ive been a fan of the MechWarrior Game from way back in the days when this was a table top board game. Any chance you might do a Heavy Assault Mech like an Atlas or Dashi or a Light Recon Mech like a Cougar, Wasp or Commando. If you would add one of each type you would have a representative of each Mech class in the Mechbay. Thanks for making such super cool work available.

Thanks, mucho, Jon! My favorite mech (speed and jjets). And, I like the overall design (a bit more sleek than the average).
