Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2024 Nov 15 9:11 am)
Failing all of those load the "poser primitive cube" an make it about 800-1000% tall (Y Axis) load a second and make it 500-800% wode (X Axis) then move the second cube up the Y asis till it is about 3/4 of the way up the first cube and move it abit to the front (Z axis) boom yer done. To add a little more polish to it export the 2 cubes to Object format (edit-export-wavefront object) and open it into UV mapper (free download here) and choose new uv map as box no splitting and deselect all the options this will give you a front side and top view that you can apply any wood texture too. You can also select all and choose assign material and assign group and call both cross. Export the UV map as a bmp and the model as a object again (use the default settings) and re-import it into poser. Select only the options "Centre, On Ground, and % of figure height) Use 150-200% for figure Height (the cross will be 9 to 12 feet tall) And save it to the Library as your cross prop :-)
UVMapper Classic (the free version) can be downloaded at www.uvmapper.com.
Steve Cox recently retired the Windows version, but the Mac versions are still available.
And if you know of any other roman-era props for poser, please let me know
sys recently posted a vexillum (flag or standard) in the Free Stuff Club forum at PoserPros.
RunTime DNA sells a complete Roman villa (with atrium, courtyard, garden, and bathhouse), along with matching furniture.
"Steve Cox recently retired the Windows version," yeah?!..why would he do that?
UVMapper Pro is just out in a new version (well less than a month old I think) so you don't need to wait any longer than it takes to go and buy it ;o)
