The nice thing about flowers is they don't whine if you need to re-shoot a session, or if you find a prettier one. [Or, maybe they do? That would be sad...]

Hi Sheila! I've just got some plug-ins from Flaming Pear, and love playing around with them, and the effects you can get. I guess you'll either love this or hate it! ~Gordon~

Just a quickie I agree with Misha about flowers. And thier boyfriends dont huff and puff inpatiently either. Shoot practice if it doesnt work try something else. Try lots of different angles too. I like Mishas crop, and it is what I may have done, so to be a little different I tried an angle.

Wow!!! You guys sure gave me a lot of ideas!!!! Thank you SO much!!!! I would LOVE to have a reshoot session...alas...i had to bury the flower a few days ago. pity. Gordon...not bad...cool effect. misha...i like what you did...i might have to try this but with keeping the entire but in the frame...not cropping it out. LP...sigh...need i say more??? this is what i wanted...just never occurred to me to try a different angle while keeping original background. Can i do this and upload it? or is that stealing or something? i will try it the way misha did it...just not crop out the left side of the bud...see what i think. thanks SO much guys!!! you're the best!!!! happy Thanksgiving everyone! Hugz, sheila

Of course you can, it is your work I just added my thoughts to it. All I did was rotate 45 degrees and cropped the image, this left part of the top right corner with no detail, and I then cloned in some of the background, and cloned out the brown leaf. I finished off with a little blur to mask any visible cloning lines.
