Here's a thought... why not offer your "fits" as freebies in freestuff? Make sure you mention it to Gabe first; he's usually thrilled and in at least one case offered to host the freebie himself. :) Brynna

hey there i pretty much covered most of the characters that were out at the time, but considering that there would be more people wanted to use them with i included instructions on how to easily move them around. it really shouldnt take that long - loading the eyes, a quick dial turn or two to roughly position them, and then a bit of finer dial-tweaking to put them perfectly in place (sometimes its better to modify the decimal entry, say the z-trans is at 52.7554 then try 52, 51, 50.5, etc manually. once you have one of the eyes adjusted to your liking you can just copy the decimal settings over to the other one in a few seconds - remember though that the X plane would be mirrored so add a negative to that. then save your eyes to the prop folder under the name of the model they are for, making sure you choose 'yes' to the 'save as a smart prop' query, and you can just load them again the next time. the reason i dont go through and make more eye fit poses for more characters isnt because i wouldnt devote the time to do it, but because - unfortunately - i dont own many of these models they are made for. in fact for the blackeyes package, several of them like Dina, V3 and M2 (at the time) i didnt own. i dont own the Girl or any of all these new toon-type characters either so i wouldnt know where to start making poses for them. cheers, -gabriel

BLACKEYES 2.0 http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=18033 Actual Eyes 2 (for BLACKEYES 2.0) http://market.renderosity.com/softgood.ez?ViewSoftgood=24423 I've got both the above great products. From the BLACKEYES product page it states: designed for: -Vicky 1 & 2 -Vicky 3 -Stephanie -Millennium Girls Pre-Teen -Millennium Girls Pre-Schooler -Michael 1 & 2 -Nia -Dina Now, these days there's plenty of free 'hair fits' poses that'll tailor fit a particular piece of hair (freebies and storeboughts) to other characters, and what I'd like is the same thing for BLACKEYES. Surely I'm not the only one who's going to use these fine eyes on just the above listed figures? :-) What about DAZ's GIRL character, and so on. For myself I've used BLACKEYES with DAZ's "Grim" character with good results but have had to manually adjust the positioning of both eyes when first applied into the head. I saved the 'poses' for both eyes so that later on when I used Grim with BLACKEYES again for a different project I could simply apply the pose for each eye and it would position the eye where it was supposed to be. The trouble was that for the very first time that I positioned the eyes for Grim I had to go through all the little initial jiggling around trying to find the right eye position(s), and that was time consuming. Since I've been collecting new characters after buying BLACKEYES I know I'm going to have to do this all over again for each one. I was hoping somebody had already done all the hard work and could save myself (and other BLACKEYES users!) the trouble of re-turning the wheel again and again with some free 'eyeball fits'. ;-) I realise that the creator of BLACKEYES couldn't have hoped to have foreseen (pun intended) how the eyes were supposed to fit into other new characters heads but since it's such a great product (as is Actual Eyes), isn't it a shame not to use them more widespread and easily? Thanks.
