Poser - OFFICIAL F.A.Q (Last Updated: 2025 Jan 26 2:05 pm)
Hi Corranvh, Cameras don't really have a vector, per se. Cameras have parameters such as: xRotate yRotate zRotate xTran yTran zTran ... that define where they are and where they are pointing in the studio. Most of the cameras point at the center of the Poser studio except the: Face camera - points at the face (duh) ;=[ Hand camera(s) - points at hand Posing camera - points at figure Dolly camera - rotates on itself (and ... is 'pointed' using the x, y, and zRotate parameters) Hope this helps. cheers, dr geep ;=]
Remember ... "With Poser, all things are possible, and poseable!"
cheers,
dr geep ... :o]

I am trying to find out where the variable for the camera's vector is, (trying to find the dot product of the camera and the normal), and I have no idea where to start looking. I wrote a rendering engine last year in C#, and I don't remember how I did it...This is hilarious, anyways, camera's vector in poser 5, right, that, anyone know?
