Subject: needing post cards for announcing upcoming show

Hi everybody! itsumama asking the question. :o)b I have a show (my first) coming up in January. I am in need of post cards to announce the show. I have been wandering around online looking for help, when suddenly I realized maybe you guys would know my best bet here. I looked at a couple of online places, but then I got to thinking about a local print shop. It would just be a simple card w/ one of my images on the front and my business name, blank back. Any suggestions? The time is getting short. If you have any ideas, pls let me know. I appreciate your help! Barbara...itsumama :o)b

First off, I got a mailer just the other day I can send you thier phone number. They specialize in post cards. Very good prices, I can't vouch for them, as I've never used them for printing before, but for the price... I'll try to find that for ya. Whatnormally happens, is calling 3 or 4 printers in your area for qoutes (they often take a day to get back to you) and ask for what size you need, and you are looking for 4/0 (meaning 4 color process on the front, no printing on the back) Last and most cost effective is if you are only needing a small quatity (a printing company will need at least 500 minimum to print it) find a place with a color laser, willing to print on card stock. (I personally print business cards for people at only $1 per page) It's too early for me to put rational thoughts together, I hope I made sence. If you want that mailer info let me know, I'm sure I saved it, I'll just have to dig through the desk to find it. Good luck, please ask for xlarification on ANY of the above, ~ Rich

I've ordered from these people with good results.. But you have to order early because the price rises quickly with early shipping. This was my first time ordering cards so I have nothing to compare it too. Good luck on your first show. http://www.vistaprint.com/
