not long ago, but long enough that my message scrolled off the forum. i posted that i was having clothing problems. someone posted that i was to try and use the conform feature of poser 4. sorry, it dont exactly work. the clothing is what came with the program the clothing item that i selected and need for my art work does NOT conform/bend at the knees. it only bends at the hips. i need clothing for the p4 gal and other figures that bend and twist at the knees to do my artwork

did you try searching the Marketplace for morphing clothes for the P4 figuares? often times you will find that those confirm better and are easier to adjust for posing.--_Essie

Did you turn off IK?

What clothing are you trying to use, and what figure are you trying to conform it to? Can you post a screen shot of the problem?

If the clothing item is a long dress, the skirt probably will not conform correctly if the figure is sitting. Long skirts are difficult to do with conforming clothes. Some long skirts come with "sit" morphs built in. You pose the figure, conform the clothes, then find the "sit" dials in the hip or body of the skirt, and adjust the skirt to fit.

I don't think the formal dress that comes with P4 has sit morphs. You can either search the web for a dress that does, or use magnets to pull the skirt into place.

Morphography has some clothing for victoria 1,2 and 3 that have sitting morphs.

Poser fashion has some clothes with sitting morphs for some figures too, but none for the p4 female :( .

If money is tight, use Poser magnets to pull the skirt into place. It won't cost anything, and using magnets is a valuable skill that is useful for all kinds of things.
