Subject: Looking for poseable pearls

Hi - I am looking for a strand of poseable pearls (not a necklace probably) that I can twine around my characters hair. I want something to look woven into the hair so I need some flexibility. Is there such a prop? If there is, will it be impossible to pose? (Probably) Would it be easier to add the pearls in postwork? If so, does anyone know of a good pearl-painting tutorial? Thanks in advance!
