Subject: Conforming figures crashing poser 4

I'm having problems with certain conforming figures (mostly hair, e.g. Kozoburo's long hair)crashing poser. I try to load the figure and poser either hangs, or all of the menus get greyed out. Either way, I have to use the task manager to quit poser. I have saved a .pz3 file from a different computer, loaded it onto my 'puter, then into poser and the figure will work. Anyone know why this is or have a solution? Specs: Poser 4.03, HP Pavillion ze4300, 1gig ram, Win XP home. Thanks
