Browsed trough Phil's gallery the other day and got inspired by his expresso machine render:D

Ah, I was gonna say in my comment that I made an espresso machine a while back. Then saw here that you got inspired by me. See, the thing is, when you're inspired, you're not supposed to actually do a better modelling job than the original. Try and do worse next time OK?!

See, Phil, I used to spend a little time on modeling, and days to render some of my stuff, now, I spend more time modeling and getting smarter on render times by carefully choosing textures and render options...I guess we all improve as time goes by :D BTW, Ornlu's HDRI map used on this one, I also have ambiance rendering on my other computer going on, only 600x600 where reflections of the map are more visible and close to real HDRI. Modeled partialy in Silo and rest is result of me playing with my newest installed toy Amapi 6 (freebie from "Comp arts" magazine). Thanks for the comments, guys ! :D

hey i got a full version of Amapi 6 on disk the other day when the girlfriend bought a 3d mag for me. I CAN NOT use it though cause i don't have win 2000 or xp :( Just noticed it has Maya 6 PLE on it as well.

Yep, pretty sucky workflow in Amapi 6, it's not free for nothing, lol, do not like it that much, I do not think I'm gonna use it again, took me forever to do proper chamfering of the edges :(
