It's 3:00am here in Australia and i started this at 2:30am. Not sure if i'll continue with it but incase i do i would like some ideas on other things i might be able to add to it or anything that may need ajusting. The terrain i'm leaving the way it is because its what i wanted from the start.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

Seaweed. And bubbles. That's about all I can think of.

Are the lighter areas at the bottom part of the material or are they caustics? Did you turn on the TIR option before rendering? Just some thoughts...

The lighter patches at the bottom are part of the texture. Being new to bryce i haven't used the TIR option yet, one reason is i wouldn't know what to set it on or if i leave it on default setting.

I have opinions of my own -- strong opinions -- but I don't always agree with them.

TIR, or Total Internal Reflection, adds more realism by simulating the reflective properties of water on the underside of the surface. Caustics are the lighting effects on the bottom of the underseas caused by the movement of waves on the surface. Since the waves are distorations of a refracting/reflecting media, they cause light patterns on the bottom.,
