It's probably the new 'clothing creation' feature in Cinema 4D R9

Dress-O-Matic is a cloth creation tool in Cinema 4D R9. It allows the user to create a flat surface for both the back and front (with a figure in the middle, i.e. V3), bridge them together, establish the side polygons as "seams". When you click on Dress-O-Matic it will automatically shrink the seams polygons and what used to be flat surfaces (front and back) fold and mold to the figure in the middle. It is great fun and an amazing upgrade for Cinema 4D. Hope this helps. Eddie

Dress-O-Matic is a function of Maxons' Mocca 2 module for Cinema4D v9. This clothing feature has had very good reviews in the 3D press. You can see more at Maxons' product page. Open the Mocca 2 page and there is a video of Dress-O-Matic in action.
