you'll find the best fit in the "mixed medium" gallery but quite a few members post "manips" in the 2D gallery as well. I co-mod the 2D gallery and i wouldn't toss out your image if you put it there.
as for the "photo gallery", yeah i'd post only straight shots there (you could adjust contrast or colour cast and no one will lynch you, but i'd steer clear of posting "manips".

I like to use Photoshop and usually prefer starting with a photograph or stock picture and adding effects, lighting, brushwork, etc. to it. After reading information in the Photography Gallery and in the 2D Gallery, I am still unsure of where to post my images. They aren't pure photography or pure 2D. Any suggestions of where to post?
