thanks cindy... you had 2 deaths in family. raz's father passed. they don't think my uncle will make it. boke's image of him and his brother on hair's and hiss thread brought tears to my eyes. my dad and my uncle Ronald are very close in age (18 months to one year). they were very close to each other. joined Navy together. they even double dated together. when i saw boke's image...two brothers...it made me think of dad and Uncle Ronald. my dad's hurtin' REAL bad!!! I can't even begin to think about what it would feel like to lose one of my brothers (biological OR adopted) i've just been trying to stay busy and think happy, peaceful thoughts. and pray too. thanks cindy...helped to vent a little!!! huge hugz

sigh The more we learn to know people, the more we see of pain as well as joy too. I've seen what can happen to brothers losing each other when my father died 22 years ago - uncle got kinda attack from it. Fragile beings we are. sigh whispering prayers huge silent hugs

Just talked to my dad. Uncle Ronald made it through the night and is conscious. they are going to do scan soon to see if anurism is bigger. he apparently also has a torn aeorta valve. last night they were told surgery was NOT an option. Now my aunt is being told it may be. we're all a bit confused. my aunt was told this morning there is a chance he could make it through this. please continue sending prayers up, send out warm healing thoughts....thanks guys!!! huge hugz sheila

Well a maybe is better than no, its no good when they tell you that their is nothing more they can do,but keep the problem in check. They are doing that with my grandmother right now, they say she is not a candidate for kemotherapy cause of her age and other problems. Just keep praying, and with some help from others, maybe they can fix the problem. I know that praying can help lots. It gave my grandfather a whole extra year to his life, that he was able to enjoy to his fullest in ways he hadnt in years.

Will continue to pray. Hope he continues to improve!

Yes, I pray. Sometimes when most needed it is most difficult to pray..minds too occupied to stop for even a moment. I pray and will now. Prayer worked a miracle in the life of my younger bro-in-law and also let my mom pass gently into higher hands. We have a sort of "prayer circle" of folks across the net who will join in. God Bless. Tom.
