........... as a newbie to Poser and currently a bit skint with it, I was chuffed about the free V3/M3. OK, gift horses and all that, but THOSE EYEBROWS!!! They are gross - the Gallagher brothers meet Groucho Marx. Is there anything I can do with them to make them less obvious? Even with max transparency these great thick things are poised above Vicki's eyes - beautiful - not, lol.

At max transparency, they shouldn't be visible at all. Make sure there's no ambient or reflective color set. They're made to be used with a transparency map, which can make them look quite nice.

There's also a 'brows gone' dial in the head morph pack - then you just use a texture map that has the brows already painted on

It's also possible (in general) to make the wrong material transparent, or mustake translucent for transparent. Some of us artists have eyes which have seen more years than we care to admit.

thanx guys - the brows have gone!!! (couldn't find a brows gone option dial but playing round with transparencies, etc did the trick). Now to hunt down some eyestuff ............ All she needed was a darn good pair of tweezers (ouch)

PUHleeze, never use the Brows Gone morph. It is not dependable, since it will disappear if you apply any other morph to the head or face. You might want to get a body texture for Vicky 3, because then the eyebrows will be handled properly. DAZ just gave you the Vicky 3 figure free, they didn't give you the textures.

If you look around Renderosity or other places there are eyelash/eyebrow transmaps.

Buy some good texture maps.
