I'm wondering if any of you out there that use Vue and Poser have come up with this problem....
I'm importing a rather large animated scene into Vue 4.2 from Poser 5 that consists of Daz's David character with a sword smart-propped to his hand.
When I import the scene, everything comes through fine except the smart-propped sword... i get no error messages, nothing. The sword simply is not there.
Now, after experimenting, I found out that if I parented the prop to the hand, with the "inherit bends from parent" box checked. Then the prop would import. However, the prop deforms all over the place thanks to that "inherit bends"
I've tried many other combinations like lock hands, lock actor, parenting the prop just to the hand without the box checked, nothing... The only one that works is when checking the "inherit bends" box.
I've tried many other props and all have the same problem (this issue happens with hair, helmets and other props... oddly enough though, it doesn't happen with clothes...???)
Has anybody experienced this problem?
Thanks for the help..
Bryan
