Subject: looking for a horn thats used to blow

I'm rendering a scene and I need the kind of horn that was used in days of olde to sound an alarm. A short leather loop for hanging it on one's belt would be icing on the cake. It must be a freebee as I've no money (paying for a new roof). Anybody know where I might find one? Thank you :)

If you think of Boromir's horn, the Horn of Gondor, that's the kind of horn I'm looking for.

That was an animal horn, and there are many of those in freestuff. You could easily make something similar with a horn and a bit of texturing to look like metal around the rim and mouth-piece. There are several drinking horns of the same type, and a powder horn by cooler over at 3dcommune, IIRC. [nope, just looked and it is a horn spoon.] Any of them could be adapted. Carolly
