Subject: Ok, I'll need Mover 5 for P5 animation; which VUE?

I understand (perhaps correctly) that Mover 5 supports Poser 5 dynamic clothing; what I can not seem to find out is which version of VUE is the cheapest that will work with mover 5 to render out poser 5 dynamic clothing. anybody?

All Vue versions will work with Mover 5 - so the cheapest is the download version of Vue 4. But i would do a little research first. "Dynamic clothes" is the most difficult for importing into any other program. There are often things that look different to Poser renderings. Especially when it comes to animations.

Hence the question; I know (I think) that mover 5 with vue 4 will not do poser 5 dynamic clothing; will 4.5? or do I need 5? 5 pro? 4.5 pro? 4.666 Ultra Infinite Pro? On a side note, I'm fairly certain that I can upgrade my Mover 4 to Mover 5 for free; has anyone done this with Vue 4.1 or 4.2x problem free? I'm just hoping to find out about essentially that one aspect of things; I'm trying to be semi-professional as an animator, and use Vue 4 and Mover 4 to render out animations composed in Poser 4 PP; I don't really use Vue for much else. If I can cheaply upgrade to be able to do P5 dynamic clothing, I would jump on it.

I have imported dynamic clothes to Vue 4. With Mover 5 of course. But dynamic clothes are highly related to Poser 5. So there are often problems when you export that from Poser and import it to any other program. My feeling is, stay with Poser 5 for dynamic clothes animations. If you do that semi-professional and you do have already Mover 4 i would think it is not a big deal to invest in that little money and try it out - the best and only way to find out wether it does what you need it for.

I've imported Poser 5 scenes with dynamic clothes to Vue 4.5 Pro. Stills only. As I understand it, the cloth animation and figure animation run one or two frames out of sync when imported into Vue. Not a problem for stills, but a definite problem in animations. e-on tech support knows of the problem, but I haven't seen a fix yet.
