Subject: Questions about Shahara's Eva and Morris' latest texture

SnowSultan ( ) posted Tue, 18 January 2005 at 11:11 AM · edited Mon, 03 February 2025 at 12:43 PM

Hi. I apologize if this belongs in Product Showcase, but I had a couple of questions that might be helpful to others considering these textures. Shahara's Eva for V3 looks beautiful, but can anyone tell me if her six-pack abs are painted on the texture or if that's created by the included INJ? It's a bit hard to tell from the previews. Also, if anyone has the new texture by Morris and Faceoff, could you perhaps post a sample render using P4 or DAZ Studio? I don't have Poser 5, so as impressive as the P5 scripting is, I won't be able to utilize it. Thanks in advance for any help, take care. SnowS

Hey snow ;-) I just wanted to let you know as soon as p5 is done rendering, I will work on a couple of p4 renders to show you ;-)

I'm just curious. I'm running Poser 4 on a Mac so I can't use the new skin shader. Is there any way you could use the skin shader to make a Photoshop layer for the millenium figures. I tried using all types of noise filters but they just don't work. I am getting so depressed every time I see the images with the new skin... :-(

Thanks for the link and info so far. I've basically switched over to DAZ Studio because of the library management features (it's hopeless with P4 and my big Runtime now, LOL), so any examples that don't use P5-specific features is good enough for me. Would you ever consider selling just the texture for those of us who don't plan on using P5? - not that I wouldn't love to have P5 now and use some of the great stuff for it by faceoff, ockham, and PhilC of course. :) Thanks again. Okie dokie here is a quick portrait in poser 4 with the lighting that comes with the pack.

We included MAT poses for poser 4 users, you will just have to plug in the bump maps by hand however.

Actually I think they look better in Poser 4. The renders I have seen done in Poser 5 looks like sun damage skin on old people. Sorry

Thank you very much for those renders, they are excellent. I just wasn't sure how much of an effect the P5 scripting had on texture detail. Still wondering about Eva, if anyone happens to know. Thanks again! SnowS
