Since i never completed the scene for the challenge... :) Far from a perfect model, but i know at least one person asking for it.

When I import the OBJ, I get this. THe ship itself is there and is fine(It's the little moddel to the left near the top, but at a much larger scale I get a LOT of other stuff, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Just read it into wings and output as 3ds and read that into Bryce and it's fine. (Still confused)

Downing it as i type Rudy! Cool and Thanks!! Any hope of finishing that render, ya'll dones gone'n got me all curious (grin) BTW, those images have stochastic written allo over them. I'm currently working on a sci-fi image with a retro 57 chevy outfitted as a hovercar, this may just work out well in that.

I grabbed it and opened it up in Deep Exploration, converted it to .3ds and it opened just fine. With one exception - Rudy, I understand it's a huge spaceship, but did you hav eto make it so HUGE? :) Really, imported it and it was HUMONGOUS. I had to play around with it just to get it to fit into the screen. Major size reduction. Thanks, it's awesome looking.

Import it into Wings, select all objects, right-click -> Invert.

I'd love to know how you get that high contrast grainy mat on the ship. Its perfect for displaying detail.

Actually its just the plain grey default mat in Cinema. The grainy contrast comes from the stochastic radiosity. Think you can get a similar look with a lightdome in Bryce, and just add some noise in a 2D app. If you guys have to much trouble with the import,(or dont have something to convert it with), i could export it as a 3ds instead, just let me know.

Rochr, I've already got it converted to .3ds. If someone wants to host it, message me with an email address and I can send it along.
