Subject: How do I change Poser's display font?

Poser dials are labeled with looooong names (V3, anybody?) and I can't even read 'em. I 'd like to swap out the display font with another, easier to read one, but can't figure out which font it's pulling up. Once I trashed my font folder, and it defaulted to Courier (ack! nasty!) but that confirmed it's using a font and not an embedded typeface in the program. How ya do it, then? Is there a pref file I can edit? I changed the startup files to keep ole P2 Lowres Dork from loading...certainly this can be done, too.

I wouldn't mess around with too much of the settings in poser if I were you it may screwup the rest of the program. Im not sure you can edit a font in poser's settings. Are you in P4? You can easily change the 'default guy' to V3 under your general pref's without disrupting your poser settings. I've done this. tells you how in the poser user guide. as far as changing a font? Dont think it can be done. Have you read the user guide? sometimes there are little tricks in it to do the settings. I load V3 each time P4 starts. Not the default guy, just by reading the guide. ;)

Change the default font, maybe even change the font colors so you could actually read them, Gee, what a thought! Shame the CL never had time to impliment stuff like this. (The "ASIFONT.FON" in Poser 4 apparently does the text in the "Do you want to save this before exiting" box, that is the only font I see in the Poser folder.)

I dug around haven't seen anything to change fonts. Maybe if you changed the windows font it would change Poser's font as well? I have yet to try any of this though. I'm not keen on messing around with my software settings.
