Subject: Seeking Gemstone Props

Hi everyone, I've been looking for some faceted gemstone props for an image, but I can't seem to find any. Does anyone know where I might find some? Freebies would be nice, but I'll take whatever I can get. Thanks, Josh

Check DAZ Free Stuff. I know there is a set of stones there how good they are?? but try it.

Might try the free stuff at 3D Lapidary - they're not Poser props but the .DXF import fine into Poser although you may need to export from Poser as .OBJ and then run them through UVMapper and do a Split Vertices and resave (or the gem may come in looking like a pillow!). HTH; Dan

The DAZ lapidary set is pretty good. The only thing is - they're huge! Far bigger than any actual gem. You can, of course, scale them down.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I think I found a gem that will work. After looking at DAZ's free archive I realized that I already had the one in their free area. I had found the 3dlapidary site a long time ago, but I had forgotten about it. Thanks again for the quick responses. Josh
