I don't remember about that one, but have you looked at the tutorial included in the manual ? It worked as a good start for me when I tried to make underwater scenes.
Easy as pie. Get an image open in Vue. Apply your atmospheres keeping in mind that it will affect you finished image. Don't worry you can change them around to if you don't care for what it dose to your final image. Set up your ground layer just like you want it. Add a water layer. Choose any liquid you think you want. Don't worry you can change this anytime you want to. Move the water some where you want it to be in you image. You can even just move it half way if you want to. That way you can make it look like looking into the worlds as though in an aquarium. You then go over to your list of your image and make sure the water is over the top of ground on the right hand layers deal. Now put your camera over the ground and under the water plain. Play with your lighting and stuff till your happy. If you want to see samples look at keyze artist here at Renderosity. I am sure there are other ways but this one is so easy.
Try also 'cermit' - his gallery has some spectacular examples of underwater images.

Hi Everyone, I came across an underwater tutorial a few years ago, but I lost the link. The tutorial was done in Vue with volumetric light coming through the water and a mermaid. If anyone remembers this tutorial, please give me the link. Sam
