Obviously it seems nobody here has tried exporting a 48 bit PSD from Vue 4 Pro (or don't edit in Photoshop CS, which supports this)- but E-on did confirm to me that this will be a feature of Vue Infinite- which is incredibly good news for me! High-end professional art publishing makes great use of the 16 bit's per channel features in scanning, mural work, large display graphics, etc. I don't know of any other 3D software that exports 48 Bit PSD's- so I think it's an amazing feature...Attached Link: http://www.silverfast.com/show/48bits/en.html

Heh, just had to use that line from Toy Story! Can't WAIT for Vue Infinite to get released... But a QUESTION for Vue 4 Pro users (I have Vue 5 but not V4P)- does V4P save exported PSD's with the option of 16 bits per color channel? This would mean, of course, a 48 bit PSD file- double the usual 32 bit that Vue 4 or 5 save. I have been told that Vue Infinite will save (export) 48 bit renders- so is this what V4Pro do now?
