I attempted to make the base to the float from my earlier post, and it is 1 obj. made from poser primitives... any way to make this 1 solid smooth piece? all my egdes still show and poke thru froma all the diff primitives I combined., and i absulutely am horrendous on inner curves. Im givin a helluva go tho..

input is all appreciated.

this is the top view ...

Have you never modeled in 3D before? If you have not, IMHO, you are taking on FAR too large a project for your first one.

Way too many people take way too many things way too seriously.

yes and no. Ive never posted any of my stuff. prolly should. It's a hobby only so I am lacking certain abilites (and software, really) to pull this off... Ive actually done quite a bit of simple things... to me, what I'm after dont look too intimidating, but I'm 'bad' that way too. (lol) this is the biggest thing Ive tried. To add to it, I am actually redoing the real float when I get this thing done in 3D.. That part is much more into my 'element'. I appreciate the input.

To make something that complicated you would need a 3d app and know how to use it, too.

Have you thought of downloading Wings 3D? Free modeling app that will do that for you. Also a very good forum here with lots of help and tutorials.

I also suggest Wings3D, even I have been able to do some items with it. And when/if I must delete parts which Wings3D sometimes refuses to do I move the obj to Anim8or (also free). Anim8or will delete anything which of course also is a good way to mess up a model. ;o) Good try so far raz! Has anyone taken on the trolly yet?
