Amethyst Arts Forums. A companion set of Forums for the framework of the artists' community. We cover Design and Composition topics such as Line, Form and Color Theory. We look at all forms of art, Tradition 2d and 3d art such as Painting, drawing and sculpture as well as jewelry design and textiles. We also look at 2d and 3d computer art from a traditional perspective. And here is the bonus ... Self Promotion. How do you get your art to the buyer? Portfolios, Mailers, all of this will be covered. How do you "package" your work? What is the best print option for you and why? I invite you all to come over and see what you think, add your comments and take a look at the teaser topics I've started for you. Together we are a working community ... I hope to help the community with my new forums. Sincerely Boni

Hi, Bloodsong, Actually this is a companion site to my original. It'll all work together soon. The Mother Site is still a little buggy, but I'm teaching myself Dreamweaver and hopefully it'll be smooth too. That's where the artwork from the forums will be housed, and there will be an art school, gift shop, print shop ... where artists can sell their prints ... and general resource site for artists of all kinds. The Forums sort of shot up as an offshoot and will be the cornerstone for the mother site. Thanks ... come on over and add some words of wisedom. :) Boni

you're more than welcome. I knew my degree in art would come in handy one of these days. :) I'm just glad I can share my years of experience in the art, desktop publishing, and print technology fields to some use to a community that has given me so much these last 3 years. It's quite rewarding. Boni
