Subject: lighting problem please help

need help,trying to light a room with ceiling,three walls,floor without getting white patch in camera view?any way to do this?please any input would be nice-thanks in advance. Richard

I'm guessing you're reffering to the lensflare.... Select the light(s), now on the top right side there's the box with all of the info and options, same one where you can also change dimensions, materials and so on. You will see an icon that looks like a star, right click on it and select no lensflare, and now the withe patch should be gone..... see image.

but iam not just refering to the sun,i mean spots from lights also.

Alternatively you could buy the "LIght Tune" module from E-On (if you're using V5) and simply tell the spot lights to illuminate everything except the floor. Personally I find this module incredibly useful, I sometimes wonder how I managed without it!!
