Subject: Female Poser Figures - a question ?

This has probabley got a very logical reason..but I'd like someone to explain why the default pose for lots of female poser figures is up on tip-toes ? I'd have thought a logical default pose would be just to have them standing like 'normal' human beings

Poser females live in high heels. Even when exploring dangerous alien planets, or fighting orcs and dragons, they wear spike heels.
