I'm doing an animation in P5, using the P4 rendering engine with "ignore shader trees" checked, to speed the process up.
However, when I render SOME hair objects with transparency maps, they render properly, but OTHER hair objects just go invisible, like the transparency node isn't connected to anything.
If I uncheck "ignore shader trees", the transmapped hair renders fine - but I can't afford the extra rendering time that this takes.
Can somebody explain why I'm getting the transmapping I want with some hair objects and not with others?
