Yup, it effects PC as well. This was an issue while they were beta testing. It seems the bug there isn't completly killed. I imagine CL will address this further with a patch. I've been switching to SreeD to set start and end distances for spots and points. You will discover some other stuff that is different in OpenGL. The grouping tool works ... well not the same in OpenGL. Not sure it's really wrong it's just different. P.S. It's WAY improved form the beta versions. Nerd3D
I have a different problem (PC with NVIDIA Quadro4 graphics card). Open GL is heaps faster than SreeD, but when I set Dist End for point lights the whole scene gets horribly overlit in Open GL and you can barely see anything. It displays perfectly in SreeD.

I'm running poser 6 on an apple G4 power book If I try and set spotligh Dist End or Dist Start using open GL preview mode nothing happens. But if I swop to screeD mode they work propely. Is this just a problem with Macs or is it the same on PCs?
