What do you use parametric FOR? Fran

Parametric mapping of the object applies texture as it were a decal (as it was poorly explained in B5 manual, page 148 :P). Also in this mode, if object contains specific wrapping information (UV coordinates) this will be respected for the image that info was built upon. Poser objects have this, so co-responding textures are always nicely wraped around them :) Hope this was helpful ! :D

Hmmm, helpful? I think so... Still not sure how I would use it, as I'm not clever enough to do poser models. But it seems to keep coming up as sort of the default in the texture editor when I'm trying to play around with the textures on my castle - so I wondered. Thanks. Fran
