Subject: Vue5 plant crash

Lately, Vue 5 (basic program, with Botanica) crashes EVERY time I try to "load plant species," either by right-clicking or from the Object menu. Tech support at e-on is scratching its collective head. Tried re-installing a zillion times. This is on a G4 desktop, 1.25 GHz PowerLogix processor, Radeon 8500 vid card, 1 GB RAM, OS X 10.3.8. Previously, everything worked great; and the copy on my G4 PowerBook (1.25 GHz) works fine (mostly). Any ideas? E-on appears to be stumped, and so am I. Thanks, neighborinos!

Try this link: http://www.e-onsoftware.com/Support/Forum/post.php?fid=2&cat=2&pid=518 and download the plantfix: www.e-onsoftware.com/download/vue5/extraplantfix.zip Download the latest Vue 5.05 Pro Studio update too. Mazak

I had a ton of trouble with plant crashes when I first installed V5E, they had to send me some different files because the CD had bad ones. THey said this was not common but happened with a bunch of the CDs. I would contact E-on.
