I've scearched every sight I could think of and I can't find it anymore, or they have been discontinued. Is anyone familure with the site for the attached are. (hopefully attached)

The picture isn't showing. Did you use the "attach file" area when you posted?

If they were traditional hair (like geisha and samurai), it was probably Edogoyomi, otherwise it might be Studio Maya?

I had to get off from the Forum for a while. Any way the discription of the hair is Amrican styles. one was lots of big curles, almost like they were in Curlers that started near the neckline and didn't come above the top of the head much. It was more wide. the top was combed tight to the scalp. It was one of my favorite hair stlyes.

There is another one that was like DAZ Pony Tail except the poney tail went to the side instead of being in the back, and a little more on the wild side, but very simular.

I looked at the samples they weren't the ones, without any kind of discription by me, you were shooting in the dark. Somehow I keep thinking it was from Digital Babes. I checked every Japanese site I could find. I know It was a Japanese site because they had a few Figures which were P4 figures had a japanese look to them.

That sounds like Studio Maya's work: http://www.3digitalcrafts.net/studiomaya/1download/wig1/wig2.html has the roller hair.

I wonder what makes the Japanese so good at creating hair models? Kozaburo is GREAT! Studio Maya makes beautiful hair too and Edogoyomi's Japanese hair models are wonderful... and I know I am skipping a few. The best part is that they are great at creating hair and they are also very generous in sharing their talent and hard work!

That's a good question. I suspect that there was some internal friendly competition and inspiration by seeing each other's work-in-progress and working methods. Kozaburo had a tutorial up for quite a while, too. They concentrate upon other niche items, too: sexy clothes, motorcycles, etc.. A lot of our modelers are inspired by the latest specific movie, whereas they seem more inspired by a genre. "Hair suitable for anime" rather than "hair from this anime flick" as an example. That might make their items more worthwhile and flexible and long-lived. What if a movie flops? More likely than if an entire genre collapses. If you look at all the "giant robots as warrior angels" from manga and films and identify and distill the essential nature of this sort of giant robot (as opposed to the other sorts of giant robots), you can build one which is very comfortable without being tied to one season's box office revenue. This also means that you can take however long it needs to do it well! Carolly

Yes, that makes sense. Anyway, bottom line is I am very grateful to these modellers for being so generous! ;o)

Hauksdottir! that's the one. Great guess off my dicription. All the Japanese do have great hair. I can't Finish my Book Illustration with out one of his hair sets that he uses. Now to get me a 160 HD and DVD Recorder next week so I can back up my Runtime. I only have 10% left on my 80 gig HD. It won't even let me take off Info on my CD back up unless there is just a few Items on the CD. Now I won't have to Load every model anytime I get a corrupt runtime down the line or the next time I buy a new computer. One other question, What's the difference between a DVD Burner and a DVD Recorder. Is it the same or is it just the way certain companys like to present them as. My guess if there is a difference would be, One is better for copying DVD's and the Recorder would be Making your own DVD's. Thanks everyone!
