AUGH!

So i just purchased the downloadable version of Poser 6 having been very happy with all previous versions.

After an hour of downloading the file, I installed it.. and went to run it.

It shows the Splash Screen than all of a sudden the program just closes.

I am running Windows XP P4 3.2 GHZ 1GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 graphics card and this program should not be any problem running.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Thanks,
Brian

Hey, after reading someone else's post about setting Hardware Acceleration to NONE it works... Does this mean my machine will not use all of it's graphics resources? Seems kind of stupid to me that you wouldnt want to use all of your hardware acceleration. but I could be wrong...

Make sure that you have the latest video drivers. Poser is particular on that issue. - Noel

running on the same card here so... - /begin instruction file okies... first drop your hardware acceleration tab down to Off. then open Poser 6 and goto the preview options (render options and it's on the end tab) now change it to OpenGL : Hardware. (it defaults to Software) close poser turn HA back on reopen poser... that should do the trick. /end instruction file.

nope... Poser will work if I leave my HA on one level above OFF. But when I do what you said, it still crashes... thank you though!
